ARCHIVES TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT
We are thrilled to introduce our incredible artist and support team members for the inaugural exhibition, “ARCHIVES: Systems.” This project has been a labor of love, collaboration, and creativity, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our sponsors and fiscal agent, whose support has been instrumental in bringing this exhibition to life.
Theme:
ARCHIVES’ first exhibition, Systems, will serve as an exploration of the intricate relationships between artwork and the broader contexts of the individual, culture, and society. Artists are invited to deconstruct, analyze, and reimagine the various systems that govern our lives—from the personal to the political, the societal to the ecological. This theme allows for the exploration of relationships between and within frameworks, networks, and the weaving of distinct elements into a cohesive whole, just to list a few interpretations.
LoudHouse’s theme, Program:Deprogram, also touches on concepts like moral systems, growth within society, networks, maturation, understanding of the self over time, unlearning ideas that were imposed onto us, and so much more. Both of these concepts are intentionally vague in order to grant artists as much creative freedom as possible while also helping to establish cohesion throughout the show.
